They plant trees to restore nature and biodiversity. They also raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like ours a simple sustainability solution, and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment.
ABOUT US
My name is Shane Johnson and I'm the owner of Level Headed Pomade. I cut hair in Metro Detroit, Michigan. I started my pomade journey in 2017 trying to create something that I enjoyed using on my own clientele. With access to different types of products throughout my career I was left wanting more or less hold, more or less shine, more ingredients I could pronounce or the ability to get it out of hair. The only option was to take it into my own hands...and hair. Working on the recipe many late nights in the tiny kitchen of our previous 750 sq ft home, I made a serious mess every time. I produced many forms of useless goo, filling containers with nothing but despair. I was continually lead back to square one. Months of trial and error plagued my search for the right composition. As I came closer to the final product, I made sure every ingredient had a purpose and was a positive attribute to healthy hair. With the encouragement of my wife to persevere, I had it on the shelves for sale at the end of 2018. I'm currently working on more products and am so excited to lead this journey for Level Headed Pomade.
